For more than 13 years, Papua New Guinea has been home to our family and the place God has called us to serve.

When we first moved to PNG in 2013, we never could have imagined all that God had in store for our family. We came with a desire to follow His call into missions, share the Gospel, and serve wherever He gave us the opportunity. We later joined Samaritan Aviation and eventually moved to Wewak, where God has allowed us to serve ever since.

Over the years, our ministry has grown and changed. Chris began serving with Samaritan Aviation as a registered nurse, working closely with patients and families and helping with the day-to-day ministry and operations. As the ministry grew, so did his responsibilities, eventually leading to his current role as Papua New Guinea Country Director.

Much of Sarah’s ministry has been in the hospital, spending time with patients and their families, praying with them, sharing God’s Word, and developing the hospital ministry into what it is today. We are especially grateful for the ways God has grown this ministry and given us opportunities to intentionally walk patients and families through the Gospel.

Having our children grow up as part of the ministry and serving alongside them has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Whether visiting patients, assisting in village outreach, sorting through medical and aviation supplies, or simply building friendships, ministry in PNG has truly been a family endeavor. We know what an incredible gift it has been to serve together as a family, and we can only imagine how God may use these years and experiences in our children’s lives in the future.

Through emergency flights, hospital ministry, village outreach, Bible studies, medical outreach, and simply walking alongside people through difficult circumstances, God has given us so many opportunities to serve Him and others.

We are incredibly grateful that God called our family to Papua New Guinea and has allowed us to have a small part in what He is doing here. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, encouraged us, and faithfully served alongside us. Your partnership has made these years of ministry possible, and we are deeply grateful.
